WTW CW-38 Cooling Tower and Corrosion Control
Products
General Information: Although the name
“cooling tower treatment” is familiar, we could better call these products
“heat exchanger treatment.” WTW products are formulated to provide scale and
corrosion control in a wide range of field conditions and especially at the heat
exchange area where efficiency is gained or lost. WTW cooling tower products are
formulated based on:

CW-38
New System scale and corrosion inhibitor is designed for start up operation of cooling systems where a new
galvanized metal cooling tower is being placed into service.
This product meets typical sewer discharge parameters and all but the
most stringent direct outfall parameters.
It is controlled by a molybdate test which provides easy and accurate
control readings.
CW-38
can also be used to provide scale and corrosion inhibition on an ongoing basis
in systems where the makeup water is reliably softened.
Handling Information: CW-38 can be
handled in accordance with the Material Safety Data Sheet.
