WTW BW-22 Boiler Treatment
General Information: BW-22 reacts with the
oxygen found in feed water to form a chemical compound, thus
tying up free oxygen. By deactivating free oxygen, BW-22
prevents the localized oxygen-induced corrosion known as oxygen
pitting. BW-22 is catalyzed to speed the reaction rate
with oxygen and thus improve the overall system protection.
Usage Information: BW-22 meets the
requirements of the F.D.A. as set forth in CFR Title 21, Part
173, Subpart D, Section 173.310 and is U.S.D.A. G-6 authorized.
Injection/Feeding: BW-22 should be
fed continuously as a water solution. dissolve it by
adding the powder to water. BW-22 is compatible with the
other components used in a complete water treatment
program.
