WTW CL-5 Closed Loop Treatment
General Information: CL-5
Closed loop treatment products are suitable for corrosion control in hot, cold,
or temperate closed loop systems not containing glycol.
The products are formulated to incorporate:
pH adjustment
Oxygen scavenging
Steel and noble metal inhibition
CL-5
Closed Loop Treatment incorporates Molybdate into a multi-component formulation,
providing excellent corrosion inhibition and surface passivation properties.
This product contains an oxygen scavenger, corrosion inhibitors, and a
molecular filmer. In addition CL-5
contains two complementary noble metal inhibitors and Molybdate for control of
pitting corrosion. Two
complementary general corrosion inhibitor are included as well as pH buffers to
assist inhibition of steel corrosion.
General
Instructions: In the absence of any specific system
problems, the user should continue with whatever type of chemical treatment
matches his current program. New or contaminated systems should be flushed
prior to treatment and product selected on the basis of operating temperatures.
Handling Information: CL-5 can be
handled in accordance with the Material Safety Data Sheet.
Keep container tightly closed when not dispensing chemical
